“Nice comfortable lodge with everything you need inside, and a nice welcome pack.”

Location okay with a bus stop outside for both directions. The club house is okay but a bit on the small side. The outside decking for the club was not very clean, with food stuck to the floor of the decking from the previous 2 nights,we know this as we saw the family drop it while having a meal. However overall it's a nice quiet small site.

“We were 2 mature couples and 2 dogs.”

This is a beautiful lodge, well equipped and ideal for dogs. Secure decking and dog walks close by. It was not as close to the beach as we had anticipated, Had assumed Beach Retreat meant beach was close but unit is actually at the rear of the Park. Plenty of space for parking, In this area like this unit many are predominantly residential so rather than visiting a rental it was more like an Airbnb. We had a very pleasant break.

We are so glad you had a lovely stay. Sorry it is not directly on beach but it is only a 5 - 7 minute walk as park is quite small. We do hope that it has not put you off booking with us again. “The lodge was in impeccable condition when we arrived.”

Everything was very clean. There was lots of information on things to do locally. The accommodation was very comfortable and there was clearly attention to detail. The owners clearly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. 5 stars for everything without a shred of doubt!

“From when we walked in it was just perfect.”

Beautiful decorated lodge, lovely and clean and in an excellent sunny spot , I was able to relax being that any self catering holiday as a parent you never get to chill out as such. The sofas were so comfy and the beds too. Kids adored the WIFI (typical!!) Very modern complete with full size fridge freezer, gas hob and oven. As a family, I appreciated the two bathrooms and two toilets. We ate dinner around the table every night and was able to walk down to the beach to watch the sunset, even tho on a few days it was so windy we went into the Boathouse for a takeaway hot choc!!! We sat out on the veranda in the evenings, making friends with all of the local dogs being walked by their owners. We didn't need to go off site as the caravan is well equipped also there is an on-site clubhouse serving food and drink. We even got a cheeky deliveroo on my son's birthday as a treat. Local supermarkets nearby for those extra treats and groceries We named the fish that are in the lodge - the one with an orange face and white body is Egg and the all gold one is Bacon. The kids loved saying good morning to them everyday. I replenished what I used but everything you could think of what provided, the welcome basket was so cute and the kids appreciated the little treats. Read the comments in the comment book, everyone says the same. WE WILL BE RETURNING! The lodge was absolutely 5 star, Joy had everything we needed for our stay and is very well looked after. Booking was very straightforward and good communication from Joy & Kevin. I would definitely recommend to family and friends and will book again in future. Thank you Joy & Kevin for letting us your lovely lodge

The lodge is furnished to a very high standard with a large open planned living room, dining room and kitchen..

55 " television in lounge and also WiFi.

The main bedroom has a king size bed , television and walk in dressing area.

The en-suite bathroom has a full size bath with an overhead shower.

The second bedroom has two three foot single beds,TV/dvd, with a jack and jill bathroom.

Appliances are a fridge freezer, washer/dryer machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave.

Finishing touches include central heating in all rooms and double glazing so it can be used in all seasons.

The lodge is a 2018 model 40 ft x 20 ft.

Close to Pevensey Bay Town where there is a convenience store, bakery, fish and chip shop and three lovely pubs.

It is also near the Crumbles at Eastbourne, where there is various different restaurants and bars also Asda, Next, Boots etc.

Great days out nearby are Brighton, Hastings, Eastbourne, Drucillas Zoo, Beachy Head and the famous Battle (1066 Battle of Hastings).
