Unfortunately due to a beach/sea accident we had cut our holiday short & leave the Thursday: As for the actual caravan: we absolulty love it, It’s always clean throughout-beds are extremely comfy with crisp white linen & all the little bits provided by the wonderful owner(s) Sophie & Dwaine who go up & beyond for everyone,nothing is any bother for them.Thank you so very much for allowing us to stay again in your beautiful holiday caravan: again & we are looking forward to booking again for nxt summer.Thank you. 10/10 xx ????

“Just had a fantastic time at Sophie's caravan.”

It was immaculate and the location is amazing. Sophie is a superb host and the communication was excellent. We had an issue with the car towards the end of the week which meant my car was in a local garage and I could only get it back the morning we were due to leave. I called Sophie to explain our predicament and she could not have been more accommodating and told us not to worry which was a huge relief for us. An all round fantastic experience and we will definitely return in the future. Thank you Sophie????

“Having stayed in this caravan for the first time after booking online, it was so easy to do.”

The owner of the caravan is really nice and she went out of her way to make sure our holiday was relaxing and problem free, the caravan is situated at the edge looking out to sea. The morning sunrise was amazing to say the least, the caravan was comfortable and clean and I was left a complimentary bottle of Prosecco upon arrival, the bed linen was all white and clean with lots of little extras, it was a lovely stay and I would definitely recommend to friends and family..

As a family of 5 (2 adults, 2 children 10&11yrs and a baby)plus a big dog - Banna, the caravan had everything we needed and the views were amazing! The caravan was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed a Mon-Fri break away. Although the site wasn't open for facilities, we didn't notice as there was so much to do in the local area. We walked from the caravan to the caves along the beach, visited the local BMX bike trails, spent time at the amusements and funfair in Hartlepool. We had a lovely takeaway (Chinos pizza) and a nice Fish & Chips (FishFace). We would definitely be and definitely return, thanks so much again! X

Wish I cud go higher than a 5-excellent as this was an amazing holiday for all of us from 8 yr g/son upto 76 yr mum.sumthing for all ages,caravan was excellent 100% clean comfy everything ya need and more-owner Sophie-always at end of phone.nothing is any trouble for her..her main point is pleasing tenants,such a lovely lady & very easy to speak to,so friendly, We stayed mon-fri this yr but are 100% booking for whole wk nxt yr, We so didn’t want to leave,Thank you so very much Sophie, thank you just don’t seem enough for wot this lady did for us,looking forward to holiday Aug 2025.. deffo recommend this holiday home to anyone wishing to hav an amazing time away,luv Tracy & family xx

“The caravan is in the most perfect location to catch a beautiful sunrise over the sea from the living room french doors or on the large balcony overlooking Crimdon Beach.”

As a pet free family, I was reluctant to book a dog friendly caravan but I needn't have worried. It was clean and tidy and well maintained. The little touches from the host ie. books, magazines and little decorative trinkets made us smile and the welcome card and gift was a lovely gesture. Sophie's communication was fabulous from start to finish and my questions were answered promptly and professionally. If you enjoy getting value for your money, I would recommend booking this caravan.

Hello and welcome to Crimdon Dene Luxury Caravan Hire Page. Our luxurious platinum caravan boasts possibly the best pitch on the park with the most amazing sea view. The Caravan itself is an immaculate 3 Bedroom (1 Double Bedroom with En-suite and x2 Twin Rooms). All Bedding is included but please do bring your own Towel's. The Park is open all year round however the entertainment complex is seasonal from March-November,(Please note entertainment passes are not included). We do accept well behaved pets at an additional charge but we do ask please keep your pets off the Sofa and Beds. The site has direct beach access for the keen walkers.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.

Durham 18.1 miles; Saltburn-by-the-Sea 30 miles; Whitby 50.1 miles.

The coastal town of Hartlepool lies north of the Tees estuary, with the North York Moors to the south and the majestic cathedral town of Durham, a short drive to the North West. There has been huge investment in regeneration projects and Hartlepool now offers an award-winning marina, with associated trendy restaurants and bars overlooking stunning yachts and sea going cruisers. In the heart of the town there is a multiplex cinema, a health and fitness centre with swimming pool and Middleton Grange shopping centre, which is the third largest in the region, with a traditional market hall. Other attractions include the HMS Tricomalee - Nelson's last fighting frigate and the Heugh Battery Museum. Seaton Carew beach and its associated demanding golf course lies two miles down the coast and a short drive brings you to Saltholme RSPB Reserve, where seals and wading birds are regularly spotted. The more adventurous will be attracted to the impressive Teesside White Water Centre, whilst others may prefer a quiet walk along the Tees riverside walk. Beamish open air museum is within easy reach, near Durham city and well worth a day trip.
