“We used this caravan as a base for visiting Knaresborough and York.”

The caravan was nice , clean and comfortable.It is also right on the banks of the river Nidd for those who fancy a spot of fishing.The only downside is the park facilities were closed Mon,Tues and Wednesday.

“Lovely clean caravan.”

Gorgeous site too. Great they put covers out to use on the sofas, however we always take our own so Belle (the cockerpoo) knows where her spot is. Bed lovely and comfortable, well equipped kitchen. Will definitely love to book again, really hard to find nice dog friendly accommodation. The only feedback would be to give the table and chairs outside a blast off. But didn’t spoil anything as we had our own, although it is still early in the year.

“Lovely van with extra details such as hangers for coats next to the door.”

Gate at the top of the patio very useful, meant I could open the door without my little dog getting out. I didn't need the two toilets, but if there were six of you, I imagine that would be useful.

The location on the site is good, not hemmed in, parking for one car, well equipped inside. Mary-Ann is very responsive and helpful. The lounge has a great huge sofa and the kitchen is well equipped.

“Absolutely ideal location on the site, ideal site for walking to local shops and there's a beautiful walk into Knaresborough, turning left out of the main entrance and 2nd left Abbey Road.”

..so beautiful... Everything was ideal for our stay even blankets for the dogs, ensuite was a plus its is a mini home from home. Thank you.

“We travelled with our grandchilden 11 and 9.”

The caravan was immaculate and had everything you could want. The caravan is in a quiet position close the the park entrance. Our bed was so comfortable and had the best nights sleep in a long time. Our grandchildren had the best time and already asking when we can return. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mary and Wayne.

Stayed in Summer Breeze Deluxe for 5 days and had a great time. Wayne forwarded instructions prior to our stay, the instructions were easy to follow and the caravan easy to find. The caravan is extremely clean and well kept. Good facilities and had everything we needed. Many thanks for having us, we look forward to a return visit soon.

“From start to finish this was a very positive experience.”

Communication with owners was clear and welcoming and the financial arrangement s were perfectly handled. Caravan was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Facilities on site (pub/restaurant, cafe, shop and laundry) were a big bonus and the whole site was lovely. Highly recommended.

“Thank you for thinking of everything.”

We visited Mother Shipton’s cave on Saturday with my 4 year old, a “must do” during the Halloween festivities! The on-site pub entertained us with a fantastic Halloween party. My 27 year old and her good friend jumped into a taxi to enjoy the night life of nearby Harrogate. Something for everyone, 10/10

The property

Deluxe, dog friendly static caravan in a beautiful setting that sleeps upto six guests. It is equipped with everything you need for a short break.

Towels and bed linen are provided as well as a welcome hamper and hairdryer.

It really is a home from home. Our cosy, modern, static 2 bed caravan is perfect for a couple nights away or a longer stay.

There’s parking, decking and a large table and chairs located just outside the caravan where you’re able to enjoy your morning coffee!

Inside you will find the spacious living area and kitchen connecting to the hall way to access the twin room and double bedroom. In the spacious lounge area there’s a double sofa bed that’s suitable for children / young teens. There's a generous shower room and an additional toilet and basin to the main double bedroom.

Summer Breeze is in an ideal location when visiting the surrounding area. There are bus stops located just outside the entrance of the park with routes to Knaresborough, Harrogate, Wetherby, York, Leeds and further afield.

The on-site pub, The Mill Tavern and the river side Watermill cafe are all within 5 minutes walking distance and there is also a shopping centre over the road from the park. There is a children's play area and dog exercising field too. Can be booked with property number: 12200 next door.

Knaresborough is an ancient market and Spa town on the fringe of the Yorkshire Dales, overlooking the River Nidd, and is one of the prettiest towns in North Yorkshire. Its location makes it ideal as a base for touring the stunning countryside of the North Yorkshire Moors and Yorkshire Dales National Parks. For lovers of history, St John’s Church, Knaresborough House and the now-ruined Knaresborough Castle were built by the Normans in around 1100 AD.
