Just a minute’s walk from the chalet, you’ll find a flat, sandy, dog‑friendly beach—perfect for morning strolls and family fun.

Nearby is Maki’s entertainment venue (open seasonally from roughly March to October), where children are welcome and dogs are allowed until the early evening.

There are several children’s play areas on site, and right next door you’ll discover The Edge Aerial Adventure—a brilliant activity offering tightrope-style challenges and climbing fun for all ages.

A large seasonal car boot and market runs twice a week, ideal for browsing local finds.

From the chalet, you can enjoy a lovely walk into town where you’ll find plenty to do: the harbour, boat trips, shops, a fairground, cinema, bowling, leisure centre, swimming baths, and a climbing wall.
