“The sofa smelt of urine there was a puddle of urine around the toilet cobwebs everywhere , we had to clean the place first before we could settle in .”

We have already responded to your complaint. If you were unhappy with the state of the chalet you should have notified us immediately which you chose not to. We have a very reliable housekeeper who found no evidence to substantiate your complaint when she called to clean the chalet upon your departure. Our chalet is equipped to a very high standard as you will no doubt have discovered in your arrival. Property Owner

“Hi we had a very good holiday at 194 Atlantic bay Padstow.”

The only negative comment i would make is the long walk you have from car park to Chalet as both myself and and friend have mobility issues, as far as anything else we found the site and chalet very. Good. The staff on the site were helpful and as far as the chalet it was very well maintaned and comfortable. We would have no hesitation in staying there again. “Lovely accommodation!”

Comfy bed and had everything that was needed in the chalet. Good location for getting to places nearby, whether that was padstow or Newquay! Owner was just a text message away If needed and was quick at responding when messaged. Overall a enjoyable experience and stay

“Nothing wrong with the chalet but the trek over wet grass to the chalet was inconvenient.”

Also carrying our luggage was hard. The chalet itself was good and well furnished ion every detail.

“Looks great from the photos but the place is tiny.”

It said on the description that there was a double and a bunk bed - there is no bunkbed! I came away with my 19 y old and 14 y old daughters. The double is a small double and so my youngest ended up sleeping on the sofa for 3 nights which didn't make for a restful break. The place was dusty and full of cobwebs. The shower was pitiful and not what you need after a day at the beach. Would not recommend.

Accommodation was spotless and well maintained. Only negative was the size of the double bed which lead to less than restful sleep each night,

“The chalet was clean and bright.”

The owners had provided all you could want in a holiday home. The kitchen was well equiped to make snacks or full meals, the beds were comfy and the bedding and towels were good quality. Would happily recommend this property.

“Called in at reception on arrival and was misdirected to the farthest point of access, but once i had discovered the nearer car park i found the distance tolerable.”

every thing in the hut was acceptable except the sheet on the spare bed which was soiled, however this was overcome and we were very happy during our stay. Dear little television.

“Property was very clean and tidy and the interior furniture and appliances were excellent most probably brand new.”

Access to the property for 90% of the walk from the designated car park was good however the last 10% was not so good especially if the grass was wet. (early mornings and rainy days). If the grassed areas were cut shorter it would have been a lot better. Maybe Horizontal blinds instead of vertical rollers as access through patio door is awkward when roller blind rolled down. Sykes HC posted the property to include the following: Washing machine & tumble dryer - incorrect There is a shared facility by Office reception. Off Road Parking for 1 - The car parking is only 1 min walk from a designated car park that isn't limited to just 1 vehicle. A superb Chalet.
