It is perfectly placed in the hills above Comb Martin with amazing views. Great friendly staff and a lovely lounge bar area to sit and relax. Would not hesitate to stay here again. The accommodation was OK but a bit tired and could do with a refresh. The seating in the lounge was probably the worst, as so hard and uncomfortable we ended up having to buy some bedding from the local charity shop to put over it to make it softer, especially when you have been out all day and just want to come back to relax! On the positive side, Great shower and very quiet location.
Caravan only moderately comfortable, lounge seating needs comfort upgrade, the bed gave me backache as mattress not very supportive.
Knives in block need sharpening and frying pan surface has started to rust! Otherwise kitchen fairly well equipped. The site was nice and quiet but inclines around site not good for people with mobility issues. Pity walk through dog field to village was steep/uneven beyond field. A proper welcome pack containing some basic supplies such as milk, bread, butter, scones etc. would have been a welcome bonus!!
