Tri-Star House
Description
Tri-Star House is a charming lodge located on Wood Farm Holiday Park, a peaceful hillside setting on the outskirts of Charmouth in Dorset. Set in the rolling Dorset countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty with close coastal links, this lodge is ideal for families seeking a traditional seaside break, or simply relaxing in a tranquil setting.
Steps lead from your parking space to the wrap-around veranda and sun terrace, a spot where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening beverage while your furry friend stretches their legs. From here, step inside to find a welcoming open-plan living space, with a well-equipped kitchen to rustle up some home-cooked delicacies, or unbox a local takeaway. Savour your culinary creations at the dining table, or head outdoors for a spot of alfresco dining amidst the occasional bird melody (extra cushions are available at the property). Unwind in the comfortable seating area, complete with a Smart TV and electric flame-effect fire, ideal for those cooler evenings. When night-time rolls around, two tastefully-presented bedrooms await sleepy heads; a double and a small twin, as well as a pull out double sofa bed in the lounge to provide a comfortable and convenient haven of catching rest for all guests. Freshen up for the day with a long rinse in the shower, while pondering how you will begin your day of exploration.
For an adventure not too far, explore the well-maintained grounds of Wood Farm Holiday Park with safe enclosed areas for walking your pet, meander along the stunning fishing lake, and take a dip in the indulging heated swimming pool perfect for all the family and adults can enjoy the sauna. On-site, there is a small shop as well as a bar and café, boasting everything you need and more for an easy self-catered stay. For the active guest, spend the morning at the sports court, while the children play on the playground. The village of Charmouth is located a short distance away, with an array of traditional pubs and eateries, as well as a much-loved village bakery. For sea lovers, bask in the sun at Charmouth Beach, paddle board along the calming waters, stroll along this rugged coastline, or choose a route that leads you to the rolling inland countryside.
Why not try your hand at fossil hunting along the intriguing coastline, or learn more about this popular spot on the Jurassic Coast at the Heritage Coast Centre located on the seafront? Neighbouring Lyme Regis is a great option for a day out with its pretty gardens, sandy beach and renowned Cobb Harbour. A regular coastal bus service stops near the entrance of the site and is a great way to see this picturesque stretch of Dorset.

What guests are saying
Clean and comfortable but the mattress and bedlinen for the double bed have seen better days.
Quiet site
Lovely caravan.
Very comfortable, bed comfy, great heated swimming pool, nice cafe although we didn’t actually eat there, couldn’t get the WiFi to work and it was not free, was unusual. Otherwise a great location for a base to visit Dorset. Had a lovely week and would definitely come again if visiting the Dorset area
We had a lovely time.
The caravan is very well equipped with lots of extra bits and pieces. It was one of the more comfortable static caravans I have ever stayed in, including the beds. Mattresses can be bad anywhere, these were adequate. The site is great with the pool, lake, tennis, playground, cafe adding a little something extra. The kids were able to go off and explore. And we thoroughly enjoyed the area, especially Lyme. It is a very quiet site which suited us perfectly.
