The caravan is ultimately privately owned and well-maintained and we found the siting to be excellent away from all the crowds but still within easy reach of facilities. The wifi was a real bonus according to our 11 year old Grandson. There were rabbits all over the site which the Grandchildren adored. Others have made similar comments. The layout is a bit strange, and a little cramped. The "en-suite" is just a toilet and basin and the basin is only 3 feet high, i.e. child height, which is odd, as it is off the master bedroom. For the price we would also have expected hand and kitchen towels. The shower towels were excellent but there is nowhere to hang them up. Considering it is billed as a 6 berth why are there only 4 chairs round the meal table? We were 5 and one of us had to eat on the settee. A lap tray would have been handy. You can't open the gate to the balcony if the main door is on the latch. Should have been hung the other way round. It is noted that, whilst there are the listed facilities of a pool etc on site these are not free and current cost for 4 days was £28.50 per person. You can book just the pool for £6 per person per session. But still a large additional cost. We did phone Sykes to ask whether there was a charge before leaving but the gentleman who answered didn't know and didn't seem to want to find out either. Not re. the caravan but we booked in April for August and were lead to believe that credit card details were being taken to reserve but in fact the whole was taken up front. This was queried but no reply received.

A beautiful caravan with everything you need , we had a lovely week there , would have liked comfortable chairs for decking area , and for the money we paid , would have expected windows to be clean , other than that we would highly recommend

The site is ideal for families and close to the beach, if walking, if you go through the gate onto the pathway opposite the patio doors instead of having to walk right through the site to the main entrance.

The bedrooms were a bit tight for space, as was the ensuite to the main bedroom but adequate, and being brand new, it was beautifully decorated. We felt it would be helpful to have instructions as to what to do with laundry and keys etc. on the day of departure, and also to have a visitor's book to enable guests to write comments and tell others places of interest to visit. We also could have done with some hand towels for the kitchen and bathrooms and a bath mat for the floor of the main bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay! .
