What guests are saying
Property was wonderful.
There were a few minor maintenance items which weren’t major but given the general luxury feel felt a bit tired. A few stains on the carpets, plastic glasses, rubber seal on bi fold doors was broken, curtains ripped, toilet roll holder was missing in the main bathroom. Nothing major and probably end of season issues but worth the owner checking. Overall though our stay and the lodge were amazing and we would definitely look to return again. Being so close to Lake Windermere and being bang in between Windermere and Ambleside was perfect
The lodge was exactly as described, being modern, spacious, well equipped and clean.
The only criticism I would have is that the pedal bin was broken and there was no toilet roll holder in the bathroom. However I would definitely stay there again.
Our second stay.
Beautiful location and a well kept lodge. Owners very helpful when we had some issues with the door. Would definitely recommend and no doubt will return.
