A lovely quiet, friendly and relaxed holiday destination if you want to get away from everyday hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Lovely to stay somewhere that wasn't commercialised for the kids or focused on spending money on arcades etc. Staff are all polite and friendly, beautiful area to explore. Close to both the Lake District and Scotland for trips out. Really enjoyed our stay.

The caravan was comfy and beds were great for a good sleep.

The bedrooms were roomy and an added bonus of an en-suite toilet in main bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped except you need a potato peeler . We made a lasagne , but took our own dish , which we had no need of as there was an ample sized one in the cupboard, along with fry pan and set of pans. They even thought to provide a hanger that goes on window outside to dry towels with . Could do with a slightly bigger rubbish bin though . Shower was brilliant and plenty of hot water , it never dropped force or heat when another tap was used. All in all a happy and relaxing stay
