    “The caravan is in a great location, right in the middle of nowhere.”

    The area was quiet and tidy. There were just a few things missing: there was a bit of grease in the kitchen, the hoods need to be cleaned thoroughly, the blinds were too greasy. Some of the kitchen utensils were "greasy"... I washed them with Fairy before using them. When we booked, the description said that towels would be included, but later they called me and told me to bring my own. The hot tub is nice, but no one was looking after it: there was no refilling of water. If someone were to ask ...

Aspatria is a small town in west Cumbria which has had a settlement there for over 3000 years. The town is located on the site of an old Roman road and is known for its 19th century St. Kentigern church. Lying just 5 miles from the coast and on the edge of the Lake District National Park, Aspatria is a superb base for discovering the Cumbrian countryside. It has a railway station and a number of shops and pubs. Just a few miles to the north is the market town of Wigton which still holds a market each Tuesday in the covered market hall. Wigton is a popular centre for shopping, pubs and restaurants, and also boasts a theatre, bowls, swimming, tennis and other sports. The port town of Silloth is just a few miles away and has a wide range of amenities. Aspatria is a wonderful location for a memorable Cumbrian holiday.
