We were extremely disappointed with the standards of the caravan, we found the following issues: Sofa in lounge had a damp patch.

Mattress in main bedroom was damp and smelled heavily of urine on one side. Shower curtain was very mouldy. Kitchen was not clean. No toilet roll or bin liner. We were severely disappointed and got in touch with the owner. He apologised but was unable to assist us and so we handed back the keys and left within 20 minutes of arriving. In my opinion the caravan was not of a standard that anyone could stay in. Not only did it have long term wear and tear issues but also serious hygiene issues. We were lucky that we live in the north east of England and could return home that night however others travelling further may not be so lucky and find their week ruined. We are now awaiting our full refund.

A friendly host who offered a very well priced caravan with great facilities, absolutely no problems.

Only thing I’ve marked down is how difficult the company was to deal with when calling about a billing problem. Not using chat bots to deal with customers would go a long way for me.

Quiet site with the caravan located on the edge with views of the fells. On site parking. About 20mins by foot to Cockermouth. Lovely walk up Watch Hill from the site. There were a couple of minor issues which were dealt with promptly by the owner. There appear no longer to be a bar on the site which is a shame but there are bars/pubs within a short walk.
