“Lovely warm Caravan.”

Great location.Spent everyday on the beach beachcombing. Owners were very quick and helpful if any minor issues occurred. Loved watching the local Rabbits & Kites. Even had a power cut during storm Claudia which took us back to our younger days.loved it. Will definitely return.

“Good job the static had all the facilities, the weather god's where not so kind, thought isaw Noah go past at one point.”

Static was superb, everything worked as OT should, was very comfortable, which die to the weather was a godsend, site was first class, friendly staff, kept clean, small shop with essential goods. Would book again

“Caravan was very clean and comfortable with everything you would need.”

It might be a good idea to make sure visitors know to take a plug adapter for the wifi usb. The caravan was a a good spot , close enough to walk to the beach and amenities but far away enough for quiet nights.

“Unhappy with the condition of green bedroom headboard .”

Very smelly and needs to be changed. Very off putting. Some of the bedclothes were dirty with what looked like chocolate. We found spare sets thankfully .We had no WiFi and were told the previous guest used it up? Did without. The exterior doors needed their holders repaired as the wind made them slap closed which was dangerous for the kids. Kitchen was fine and bathroom was fine. The park in general was nice and well maintained with good recycling and nice indoor pool. Nice location, lovely staff, shame about the stinky headboard and the dirty bedcover. Strange about the WiFi also.

After your stay we did do a maintenance review on the property with our onsite cleaning contractors and maintenance team. On inspection of the green headboard we found no problems with the headboard in general, and all the sheets were inspected and we found no stains on the sheets as mentioned in this review. If you could kindly provide Sykes with photos this would be helpful to us. In our conversation we did mention and apologise The previous guests did use up the 50gb data allowance in a previous stay and this caused an inconvenience for guests before your stay including yourselves, but you did mention to us it caused no issue for you as you could use your own data package on the mobile phone… This has now been rectified by supplying unlimited WiFi data card during the maintenance inspection to use during people’s future stays at no extra charge. We also noticed both the doorstops were broken and had both replaced by the maintenance team. We do thank you about the positive aspects about the caravan reviewed on here, and the park in general. And will always strive to rectify any issues you do have during your stay with us via a phone call or text message and through the Sykes messaging app. Kind regards D12 Treetops. Property Owner

“Unfortunately our stay at D12 was let down by having intermittent electric power cuts for 4ndays of our holiday, we woke up to no electric, not being able to make tea or coffee unless we put water into a pan on the gas stove, which was a pain.”

The food I had in the freezer compartment of the fridge was ruined because it defrosted over night. This happened 3 times so I fave up in the end. The cubards were full of opened packets of food, tea, coffee, sugar, salt pepper, sauce and packets of things that were obviously left from previous occupants. I was under the impression that we were supposed to take everything away with us at the end of the holiday but I'm assuming people before us didn't bother! This ment that I didn't have enough room to put the shopping that I'd brought with me away in the cubards and I had to store my goods on the kitchen sides. Not a good situation due to limited space. This all made cooking g and serving meals a bit stressful.

We are sorry you feel the need to provide negative feedback for something that is beyond our control in relation to the power outages in the Aberystwyth area during the time of your stay as this responsibility lies with Scottish power who was doing maintenance work on power lines that were affected by the December storm. We did liaise with you via telephone call on the days this happened and you understood it was beyond our control but it was noted it was an inconvenience for us and for yourselves. In our cupbords we provide tea coffee & sugar and soups for the guests to make their stay as comfy as possible after a long journey, and if they arrive late on and are unable to get to a shop. But as of today unfortunately this service will now stop as it is an expense to us and certain customers are tending not to appreciate this kind gesture much appreciated by other guests. We feel there is ample storage in the cupboards and a few extra provided items would not really affect the overall space in them. Pictures are also provided of work surface space in the kitchen in relation to cooking space and are there for everyone to view in relation to your stay with us. Kind regards. D12 Treetops. “The property was very clean and comfortable plenty of hot water and in a great location on the site.”

We found the site staff very friendly and accommodating and the site facilities and entertainment seemed first rate. The issues we had were with the property itself. The hot taps were almost impossible to turn off fully, and I can assure you I am no weakling! The microwave was clunky and I had no faith in its operation.The front of the gas boiler looked a little iffy, but having said that all the certification appeared to be in order .As we usually cook our own food when we are away the lack of a tea towel, oven gloves and any sort of sieve or colander made it difficult. We also felt like it was that someone had just moved out of the property to accommodate our visit as many of the draws and cupboards were full of what can only be described as personal every day items eg. Food items and pet items .

Hi. Thank you for the review and we appreciate and note any feedback on where we can try to improve. We do supply tea coffee and juice and sugar for our guests to make them as comfortable as possible during their stay at our own expense for convenience. We also have guests with pets and we try to cater for them as much as possible as being a pet friendly accommodation to keep the dogs happy for their owners by providing food and little treats for them during their stay with us. The boiler does have a superficial mark but is covered by a gas certificate and is absolutely safe. We will look at replacing the washer on the hot water tap and we will replace the microwave. We will have to take the issue of tea towels up with our cleaning suppliers as we as owners have provided multiple tea towels at our own personal expense that have seen to have gone missing so we do apologise for this inconvenience and will replace immediately if contacted on our details given to yourselves during your stay, as we endeavour to make your stay perfect with us for any items the property requires or maintenance issues you have with the property during your stay. “The caravan was lovely and cozy, and location wise in a quiet valley.”

The only thing I will say was the staff at the site were unhelpful and sarcastic. When I asked for directions to the caravan after getting our wristbands, I got sarcastic comments about the owner should have told you that. Also the managers were telling me they are managers of this site and I should listen to them. Never had this trouble at Trecco Bay.

However we are deeply saddened and concerned about how you were treated by the reception staff and the managers of the site. On our next journey down I will take this up with the people responsible and try and get some feedback on why this as happened as we want our guests to have the best time possible while staying with us. “We had a lovely stay at D12.”

The caravan was just as described, very comfy sitting area and well equipped! The site is right on the beach which makes for a really lovely stay. Achievable coastal walk directly from the site. On a sunny day the views are wonderful. Worth noting that the site is large and it's a walk to the front - no problem for us but for those with little ones and little legs - a scooter might be a good shout. And use a site map to initially find the van - made it easy. The owners went above and beyond to fix something for us whilst there. Very responsive and helpful. We hope to return
