    “The property was clean and comfortable however, there were issues which could easily be rectified which took away from experience.”

    1. The post code given to us took us to the back entrance of the site which was locked requiring us to look at a map to find the correct entrance. Reception later informed us that the delivery drivers often have this same issue. A simple sign at the start of the no through road stating this is not the route to the beach retreat would save a lot of aggravation. 2. The barrier to enter the site required a card. The park reception was unable to assist and on contacting the owner we were advised ...

The park reception was unable to assist and on contacting the owner we were advised that the card was in the van and we should walk and get it (Sykes should have warned of this). Given that I have a heart condition and the van was at the far end of the site this was totally unacceptable. We would never have booked the van had the listing made this clear. 3. The broadband was very weak, intermittent and unable to stream. The owner advised we used 4g on our phone. This was really disappointing as we chose a van specifically with broadband. Did Sykes ever visit the site before providing an inaccurate listing of the facilities?

The pleasant village of Dyffryn Ardudwy quietly nestles between The Rhinogs, part of the Snowdonia Mountains, and the stunning golden beaches of the North Wales coastline. The small town of Harlech is just 4 miles away, dominated by its majestic 13th century castle which is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of all the castles built in North Wales by Edward I.
