“Mountain View lodge was the perfect, peaceful clean getaway for our family.”

Set in beautiful countryside but close to all amenities nearby we had a fantastic stay. The owner Chris was great and sent a message to check in at the start of the stay to check that everything was ok and when we had an issue with the WIFI he kept in constant touch and had it sorted as soon as possible. The welcome treat was also very much appreciated. We’d love to come back.

“Very well located position, for easy access to the west of the island, with the setting of the property as expected from the description.”

Open anspect and generous decking area around the caravan. 4* rating reflects a few basic maintenance issues that will no doubt be addressed at the next routine audit of the accommodation. Overall a great base from which to enjoy a beautiful area, with fantastic views.

“The Mountain View Lodge was very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the main bedroom had en-suite, and the living area was spacious.”

The outside had a large decking area with table and chairs, and there was a huge field for our German Shepherd Gracie to have a run and game of ball, it was just perfect

“Use of 'yellow salt box' as a direction instruction is pointless - it's completely overgrown and invisible from the road.”

TV doesn't work - I had a tablet with me to use instead and would advise others to do likewise. Otherwise, no problem - enjoyable stay in relative isolation but with perfectly adequate amenities close by in Holyhead.

The local authorities have now cut the grass around the salt box at the end of our lane, my apologies it was overgrown for your stay, we will use a different reference point in the future. I have checked the TV and the booster had been turned off at the wall, it’s all working now ready for the next guests. “Accommodation was started to show it's age, but we had a comfortable stay, clean, warm and quiet just what we wanted.”

The dogs had a free roam of the field. Plenty of beaches within a few miles well worth a visit.

“We had a lovely stay in your lodge.”

Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Great location very peaceful and quiet. Nice with central heating if needed. Enjoyed going to Penrhyn Castle and Plas Newydd House. Will come again. We would recommend this to family and friends.

“Hi, I had to sleep in the tiny little children's bed which was so uncomfortable.”

I felt every spring in my body. Maybe a mattress topper would add more comfort. When wiping down the worktops near the TV there is a little dust trap full of dead flies, might want to get the hoover in that little cranny. There was no washing up liquid thankfully we brought our own. Maybe supply a small amount please. These are the only little gripes I have and are easily fixed. We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday. The lodge was beautiful and perfectly situated for travel to the beautiful beaches. The weather was very erm... up and down and we found an art pad and pencils so decided to have a draw a portrait night. It was a lovely touch having books to read and the art pad was a genius touch.

“We had a fantastic week.”

The lodge is seemingly in the middle of nowhere but the pub, fish & chip shop and the supermarkets are all within about 15 minutes drive. The only small downside was the traffic noise from the A55 which runs close by the site but ear plugs soon sorted that out. We love Anglesey anyway but this comfortable, spacious accommodation made this visit one of the best times we've had on the island. Sun shone all week and a cold wind kept the temperature down but that never bothered us. We'll hopefully be back again sometime. Thanks Chris!

“A lovely comfy, cosy, & clean caravan.”

Very peaceful & in an idyllic setting yet close to all amenities. On our first evening the boiler had broken down which meant we had no hot water for dishes or to shower but the owner promptly sorted it for us the following day. It was just one of those things. These things happen.We really enjoyed our stay ...so much so we have re booked again.

This delightful, dog-friendly holiday home features a spacious, open-plan living area, a private deck with outdoor furniture, and access to a large enclosed field where your furry friend can run free; in addition, the attractions of Anglesey and its stunning coastline are easily accessible from the property, making it an ideal base for a group travelling.

Step inside your temporary home, where you can relax on the plush corner sofa in front of the electric fireplace while someone in your party takes charge in the kitchen and whips up a delicious meal.

Eat this indoors or outside, taking in the sunset over the fields as you toast your well-deserved holiday.

Return indoors as night falls to change into your sleeping attire and retire to either a double or twin bedroom for the night.

These dog-friendly lodges benefit from unbeatable views across the rolling countryside, a shared enclosed field where your beloved canine companion can roam freely and both have a private decking and welcoming, open-plan living space; ideal for families or friends looking to explore the endless wonders of Anglesey. Find local amenities at the nearby village shop or head slightly further afield to Bodedern which is home to a convenience store and pub; the Iorwerth Arm lies a short drive from the lodges offering delicious food, perfect for the nights when you don’t fancy cooking. The golden shores of Traeth Crigyll and Traeth Llydan are also easily accessible; spend sunny days roaming the sands with your dog, splash around in the sea or sample locally caught produce while admiring stunning sea views. VALLEY

Trearddur Bay 4 miles.

Valley is a popular village on the north west coast of Anglesey. It is on the Anglesey Coastal Path with plenty of wonderfully scenic walks. The village boasts a variety of shops and restaurants, two hotels and a café, and is only four miles from the renowned beach resort of Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn. Here you will find a beautiful sweep of grassy coastline with rocky coves and award-winning sandy beaches, as well as a choice of shops, pubs and restaurants. Other nearby attractions include the South Stack Lighthouse with its RSPB Reserve, the port of Holyhead, with its regular ferry links with Dublin in Ireland, and easy access to the coast road around Anglesey with delightful beaches to visit and a host of other attractions to please the most discerning of visitors.
