The property

Hideaway Lodge, a pleasing caravan tucked away in the seaside town of Abergele, Conwy, offers a welcoming retreat for families and groups of friends, including four-legged companions.

Just a short walk from the shoreline, this well-kept base features a Smart TV with Sky and access to on-site amenities including a swimming pool, high ropes course, restaurant, bar, and more. Leave the car behind and step into your coastal escape.

As you approach, breathe in the salty sea air before climbing the steps to enter.

Inside, you’ll find an inviting open-plan space with a thoughtfully arranged kitchen, dining nook, and sitting area.

Stock the fridge/freezer with your favourite treats and prepare a hearty meal on the gas hob.

Once the aromas begin to fill the space, gather around the dining table with its built-in corner seating to enjoy your feast. After dinner, settle into one of the two sofas, switch on the gas fire, and unwind with your choice of entertainment on the Smart TV.

When it’s time to turn in, freshen up in the shower room, with a separate WC in the cloakroom to avoid any morning queues.

Choose between a double bedroom, a twin room, or the double sofa bed in the living area for a restful night’s sleep. In the morning, sip your tea on the patio or enjoy breakfast outdoors while your dog stretches out on the decking.

The site offers plenty to keep everyone entertained—take a dip in the pool, challenge yourself on the high ropes, and reward your efforts with a drink at the bar. Wander down to the nearby beach to feel the sand beneath your feet, catch the sunrise, treat yourself to an ice cream or fish and chips, and build sandcastles with loved ones.

Animal enthusiasts will enjoy a visit to the Welsh Mountain Zoo, where you can admire sweeping views and spot rare creatures like red pandas and snow leopards. A short drive brings you to the impressive Conwy Castle—explore this well-preserved 13th-century fortress, cross the suspension bridge, and take in the estuary views from its turrets.

For those seeking adventure, lace up your walking boots and head to Eryri National Park (Snowdonia), where dramatic landscapes of mountains, lakes, and coastline await.

Whether you prefer a scenic bike ride, a leisurely dog walk, or a journey aboard a steam train past grazing sheep, the park offers something for every pace.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
