“We enjoyed our stay in St Leonards, but the 2 armchairs were broken one more than the other, having a pillow stuffed inside.”
The slabs to the entrance were coming loose. The coffee table was broken and very unstable. The kitchen wasn't clean at all with food still on the cooker and behind the taps, so we looked at the cutlery and plates and glasses etc, we had to wash them before we could use them. The bathroom wasn't clean around the shower and toilet and the en-suit wasn't clean either, pubic hairs around the rim of the toilet, the mirror was dirty too. It was such a shame because we enjoyed a very well needed break away but it really didn't look like any cleaners had been in, sorry
On a good note we had a lovely carvery at the Harrow inn absolutely lovely, best cauliflower cheese I've ever tasted.
Hi i have just seen your feedback and should explain that the damage was caused by the previous renters who left my holiday home in a terrible state after a two week stay. Four adults and two dogs that I did not know about. i was going to cancel your visit but did not want to disappoint. The cleaners did their best and had to deep clean carpets. I am surprised to hear about the shower room because i did go and inspect just before you arrived. We did not realise about the table until the day you were due and although i purchased a new one it was flat packed and had to be erected. Also the chair doctor advise to use a pillow because he could not come out to sort the chair out. In my welcome pack i do urge visitors to contact me if they are not happy so that i can deal with problems and I just assumed all was ok. Kind regards Jacqui
