“On arrival the caravan smelled like someone might have smoked in it or dusty old heaters.”
This cleared once we had the windows open for a while. The more disappointing problem was that nothing was clean. Besides the bedding, cooker etc.. it had had a general clean but we could not use anything like plates, pans, oven tray, table, table mats without washing them first. I pulled out the bedside table in the single room to look for a plug and found old amusement tickets and a sweet. No bedside lamps in either room. The blinds were dusty and sticky. The net curtains were torn. The toilet roll holders were rusty. In all it needs a bit of love and a good clean. The site was fine. The swimming pool was very tired but we had a blast in it with the kids and tbe price for using it for the day is a bargain. The guy in the arcade was the nicest and most helpful member of staff that we met. We would return to the site.
