The caravan was exactly as described, spotless, well equipped, warm, the owners were extremely helpful accommodating, and I would recommend this accommodation to anyone and everyone.

Amazing caravan! Booked this stay in the summer and Chris has been nothing but helpful! He went that extra mile to ensure our stay was the best, providing local restaurants to attend before our visit. He also made a hamper for our arrival which was a lovely way to start the holiday! Hot tub was unreal and the caravan was lovely and clean. Will definitely be returning again.

Welcoming pack was lovely gesture in the basket. More than enough towels and Toiletries. Apart from that Boiler has a fault code E3 so could only shower in evenings. Can you get someone to have a look before new guest arrive. Thanks for a lovely stay !

thankyou for your review the boiler display panel runs on batteries and the e3 code would indicate the batteries running low we have spares in the caravan so would be just a case of changing them ,

Lovely spacious caravan, very clean and well-equipped with a welcome hamper and blanket and towel for the pooch. The hot tub was checked daily x Great location would highly recommend . Tattershall lakes is fab. Had a great weekend!!

First time booking and it was a fab break would defo recommend it was that nice I book straight away on the day of leaving to go back with my kids this time on arrival there was a lovely welcome gift with wine tea coffee sugar tea bags and a treat which was lovely very clean hot tub was fab and relaxing A++

Just got back from an amazing weekend at barneys retreat!! Loved the decor of the van and all the small finishing touches. It was immaculately clean an smelt lovely. We all made full use of the hot tub which was lovely in the evening!! Thanks for our welcome basket and Easter treats for the kids!! We will defiantly be coming back.

Loved our stay in this caravan from 11th April-15th April. 2022. The caravan was lovely and clean and had all the essentials needed for a self catering holiday. Had a nice big shower and my little one loved the hot tub which was cleaned and checked daily. Set on a quiet cul de sac where the children can play with not having to worry about busy traffic was great, little one enjoyed mixing with neighbouring families. Sitting out on the veranda was really nice especially on a sunny day as the sun stayed there most of the day and into the evening. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again in the future. Thanks for a nice relaxed break.

Had a lovely stay in Barney's Retreat. The caravan was lovely. had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. The beds were very comfy and the shower was great. The big hot tub was amazing and we connected to the blue tooth speaker easily. The caravan is in a lovely quiet spot and only about a 10 minute walk to the complex. The owner was also very helpful when booking and sorted everything we needed. Can't recommend this caravan enough. We would definitely stay here again.

Chose this as a treat with hot tub for my daughters birthday , decided to cook the first night as got there late afternoon , saucepans were dirty and had to be washed first, cooker top wasnt too clean either, lounge area and bedrooms were ok but the bathroom wasnt very clean, shower door had black mould on it which put 2 of us off showering The weather was very cold the weekend we went and the radiators in some rooms struggled to keep us warm, i did mesage the owner as no instructions for the fire or radiator nir the hottub, we worked them out but instructions woukd have been helpful We went home a day early as the weather was cold and not fully warm in the caravan, very disappointed paid out £330 and did ask beforehand if the place would be warm as the forecast wasnt great, along with dirty areas in the kitchen and bathroom not a good break and not cheap either! I let the owner know throughout the stay and was thanked for my feedback and he would talk to the cleaners! I at least expected a token refund, even if it was the cleaners fee! Took me a while to do this reveiw as needed to calm down as wasnt happy at all

We have just spent the weekend in barneys retreat and what a pleasure it was Chris knew it was our birthdays and left us a birthday banner and card it is one of the best caravans I’ve been in very clean , great communication with Chris and Helen . The hot tub was top notch just what’s needed after a week at work . I will recommend this van to all my friends ps the welcome basket was a very nice touch xx

We loved our stay at Chris’s caravan. It was a beautiful caravan and the hamper was a very nice touch. Caravan was spotlessly clean and the Hot tub was cleaned and checked everyday by billy or someone from his team. Caravan was decorated very nicely, kids loved all the ducks and pillows / pictures with cows on. Chris kept us informed all the way through the booking process and even told us about the night flight training which started on our 1st night. The Typhoon Jets at RAF coningsby were loud. When taking of approx 9pm they rattled the whole caravan finished around midnight but could last up until 1am. Being backed onto the end of the runway you do get really good view of the jets. Kids could see the pilots they were that close. Overall the whole experience was great and would highly recommend Chris and his lovely caravan to friends and family. Don’t let the jets put you off.

We stayed here with our 2 children (5 & 13) and our sons friend also 13. We initially were taking our dog but decided not to at the last minute. When we arrived the caravan was spotless. There was no smell of dogs at all! There was a lovely hamper full of essentials for us like tea and coffee sachets, milk, dog treats and even wine! The bathrooms had hand wash which I was impressed with! The hot tub was lovely and well maintained with someone coming to check daily (they were also lovely guys) The communication from the owner was amazing and we felt fully informed. We had a lovely time and would fully recommend!

I recently spent the week at Barneys Retreat with my partner and two children (5 & 16). The caravan was lovely and had plenty of room for the four of us. The hot tub was a lovely treat that my partner and kids loved. I purposely booked to go here as it was so close to the RAF base - as my son currently has an application going through - so with the amount of jets flying over, it was amazing! The jets are extremely loud which wasn’t a problem for us but can be an issue for some. But we thought it was great! The caravan had near enough everything you would need for a break away… the welcome hamper was a lovely gesture. Communication with Chris was great and he was always happy to help with any queries I had. Would recommend to everyone and would definitely book again with no hesitation. Thanks so much!

This is the second time we have stayed in this caravan, we just love it that much. It’s homely and very comfortable. The owners make you feel welcome, (thanks for the basket) and catered to our family’s needs, with having young children and twins under two it’s hard to find someone who would do this for us! So Thankyou for that, we really appreciated that! The hot tub is amazing, very enjoyable for both us the adults and for the children! Thanks again, will be staying again in the near future ????

Beautiful caravan. My partner and little girl couldn't keep out the hot tub! She is already asking to go back. Can't wait to go again now we know what facilities there is on site, plenty of stuff around to keep the little ones happy.

We had a fabulous stay Van has everything you need and more. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and our 2 dogs enjoyed their treats. We were blessed by nice weather so made lots of use of the hot tub which was amazing! Now trying to talk the hubby into buying me one!! Chris was great to deal with and communication was good from initial enquiry right up to the day of our stay and during highly recommended we will be back!

Just had a four night stay in this lovely Caravan very homely with the ornaments and pictures. Welcome hamper was fantastic full of items that we used, lovely touch. Very well equipped everything you need and more Hot tub was an added bonus and we used it every day perfect for relaxing in after a long day. Chris was very helpful and answered any queries very promptly Caravan is on a great site with lots of facilities to use Would highly recommend and would not hesitate to book again!
