We are situated on the COOP area of Golden Sands Holiday Park. It is known as a quiet,and much sought after area of the park, close to the park facilities, pool, restaurant and club. Registration fees included from September 2018
The caravan boasts a wrap around veranda with a lockable gate ( in case of potential little escapees)
We are approximately 100 yards to the wide sandy beach of Kinmel Bay.
Asda is a short distance away,and Rhyl 1.5 miles away. Easy to get to by car and public transport.
The caravan has two bedrooms the sofa has a pull out bed in the lounge.
The twin bed can also be configured to a double bed. This can be done on request.( Bedding also available for this). We have a travel cot for our younger guests, if needed. Sheet and 2 fleece blankets available for the travel cot.
Just let us know on booking if you require the cot and everything will be there waiting for you.

On arrival, the beds will be made up if you have requested linen. Tea, coffee ,sugar and milk are provided for that first cuppa as you arrive, enabling you time to relax.
Golden Sands has many facilities, including a heated swimming pool, with toddler pool and a bubble pool. A restaurant which incorporates a bar and large TV (often showing sports ) and a fully licensed and air conditioned club.
There are Clubs for the children, ranging from 2 years to 16 years, throughout the season.
The North Wales cycle path goes along the back edge of Golden Sands .Great for cycling and walking, so bring your bicycles, and put your best foot forward. The path is also suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users as there are ramps and plenty of room.
1.5 miles to Rhyl and easy walking. 3 miles to Pensarn and Abergele beach, finishing with a great cuppa at one of the cafes at Pensarn, we often do this walk along the beach at low tide.
There is the history of Wales to explore, in the castles of the area (Rhuddlan and Conway). For things to do in Rhyl there is the SeaQuarium and Vue, plus the shops.
The SC2, a newly built water park right on the sea front is now open.
Llandudno, with the Great Orme, its tramway, and the ancient copper mines is 20 minutes away by car.
We are also connected by a bus route to Colwyn Bay and Llandudno (no. 12). The bus stop is at the entrance to the holiday park. Reception have up to date timetables , please ask for one, if needed. Don't forget to try out the open topped buses in Summer. Ride along the coast on the top deck, (weather permitting ). The buses run even when its raining.
Golden Sands Holiday Park is within easy reach of the Snowdonia National Park, with its mountains, slate mines and Dinorwig (Electric Mountain), an underground hydro power station, which you can visit. Betws y Coed, Beddgelert, Caernarfon and many more attractions are close by. If traveling by public transport, the latter are accessible by train, from Rhyl station..
Leaflets are available in the caravan for most of these attractions, so why not decide where you are going that day over a leisurely breakfast.
