Completely refurbished for 2021 with a true 'home from home' feel. Located on Hobby Hollow, just 100 yards from main complex, this caravan is in an ideal spot. Double driveway at the front for 2 cars and a full side decking with outdoor seating for all the family.
As a family we have been coming here for many years and have made some great memories. Thornwick Bay is located on a tranquil part of the East Coast overlooking Flamborough Head. Nearby attractions include Danes Dyke (2.4 miles), Bempton Cliffs (4.5 miles), Bridlington (5 miles), Filey (12 miles) and Scarborough (19 miles). Its a brilliant base for exploring everything the East Coast has to offer.
The caravan is extremely spacious, 38ft long and 12ft wide offering a large, comfortable living space and compromises of a front room, dining area, separate kitchen, bathroom with shower and 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a full size double bed and the other 2 rooms have 2 single beds but can also be converted into doubles if you require. Brand new double glazing has also been installed this year for added comfort and warmth.
It comfortably sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, with room for a travel cot in the front room (supplied free of charge on request). Each bedroom has fitted wardrobes and drawers offering plenty of storage. All bedding is supplied. There is also a TV/DVD in each bedroom and complementary DVD's to keep everyone entertained! The caravan has undergone a full refurbishment for the 2021 season and has many added extras that you wouldn't get if renting directly from Haven.
It has a large, separate kitchen with a full size oven with hob and grill, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle to provide full self-catering facilities. There is also a Dolce Gusto coffee machine (just bring your own pods!), air fryer and an ice maker - perfect for enjoying a nice tipple on your holidays!
Full cutlery and crockery sets are available with enough to seat 6 people. There is also a dining table and chairs.The caravan has oil-filled radiators in every room and a modern electric fire in the lounge.
To the exterior is a veranda running the full length of the caravan, providing a large decked area complete with garden furniture offering a great space for dining. The veranda has a lockable gate – great for letting your little ones run around without them being able to run off.
Thornwick Bay itself is the newest addition to the Haven family and has recently undergone a multi million pound development with a huge indoor heated swimming pool and slides, an all-weather activity barn and an outdoor Ranger Station. It is a great park for kids and adults alike! There is also an amusements, soft play area and the Showbar where the Thornwick Bay Entertainment Crew take to the stage daily during the season and you don't even need to leave your table, using the Haven Serve app you can get drinks brought directly to you!
For the kids there's plenty to do on site, with lots of different activities available: bike riding, nature trails, den building, bug hunts, Segways, archery swimming, indoor soft play, arts and crafts to name a few.
N.B. Fun passes are required for the above and can be purchased from Reception or the Activity Barn.
On the Holiday Park there is a supermarket with Costa Coffee, launderette, amusements, The Lighthouse Bar and Restaurant , indoor swimming pool, Activity Barn, 2 parks and on-site Fish and Chip Shop.
TERMS:
1. The caravan will be ready from 2pm on the first day of your holiday, we ask that guests vacate by 10am on the day of departure. Please return keys to the key safe located on the wall by the first door. A key safe code will be provided the day before you arrive.
2. No more than the maximum sleeping capacity of the caravan is allowed at any time. This is to comply with the fire and safety regulations. Only those named on the booking are entitled to occupy the caravan. You and the members of your party must observe the park rules at all times.
3. We understand that accidents happen! If anything breaks during your stay, please can you notify us. Any major costs will be deducted from the £50 bond.
4. We love our caravan and hope you do too! You are more than welcome to make use of any games, DVD’s, toys etc in the caravan, all we ask is that you leave it in the same condition as you find it.
5. Please do not smoke inside the caravan.
6. We do not accept liability for any injury, loss of damage suffered by you or any member of your party during your stay.
7. Small, well behaved dogs are welcome, subject to a £10 fee.
IF YOU WISH TO BOOK THROUGH UK CARAVANS FOR HIRE THEY APPLY A SERVICE FEE OF BETWEEN £25-£35. IF YOU PREFER, YOU CAN BOOK DIRECTLY WITH OURSELVES TO AVOID THIS EXTRA CHARGE. WE WOULD REQUIRE A £50 DEPOSIT TO SECURE YOUR DATES (DEDUCTABLE FROM THE TOTAL COST OF YOUR STAY) PLUS A REFUNDABLE £50 SECURITY BOND WHICH IS RETURNED WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS AFTER THE CARAVAN HAS BEEN CHECKED BY OUR CLEANERS. THE FULL BALANCE IS PAYABLE WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR BOOKING. IF YOU BOOK WITHIN 30 DAYS OF YOUR STAY, THE FULL BALANCE WOULD BE PAYABLE UPON BOOKING.
