Leominster (private land)

Leominster, often known as "The Town in the Marches," is a lovely border town in Herefordshire, where England and Wales jostle each other up and down across Offa's Dyke. Kingsland (just under a mile away) is the neighboring village, including eateries, as well as a Post Office and community shop. The nearest supermarket and banks are a couple of miles away in the nearby town of Leominster. Monkland Cheese Dairy, Small Breeds Farm Park and Owl Center Kington, Offa's Dyke Trail, Oakerwood Leisure, and The Grove Golf & Bowl are all worth visiting. Croft Castle, Berrington Hall, and Brockhampton are all National Trust properties in the area. Other interesting sites to visit nearby are the market towns of Leominster (3 miles) and Ludlow (12 miles), as well as the cathedral city of Hereford (13 miles). In Leominster, there are a variety of restaurants to choose from. Savoury's Restaurant in Broad Street, The Milano Italian Restaurant in High Street, and The Talbot Hotel in West Street are among the pubs that offer bar lunches. Try the Shabagh on Burgess Street, the Jalalabad on Etnam Street, the Bangla Lounge on West Street, or Farzani's on the corner of Rainbow Street for outstanding Indian cuisine. The Grape Vaults on Broad Street and The Dukes Head on Corn Square both provide good pub fare. The Flying Dutchman in Corn Square serves lunch, while the wonderful Barber & Manual deli serves coffee and cakes.
