Relaxing weekend break at Borwick Lakes. Caravan was spotlessly clean and very well kept. As me and my partner both work for the NHS, it was good to see Denise had taken extra precautions regarding Covid, hand sanatiser and enhanced cleaning in place. Kept informed every step of the way about our booking and Denise even popped by one evening to introduce herself and gave us some useful info on walks, eateries and places to visit during our stay, which was a very nice touch and showed her professionalism and how much she valued her guests. Caravan had everything you needed for a self catering stay. From pots & pans, crockery too washing up liquid and a hairdryer. The attention to detail is admirable. The site itself is in the middle of some renovating, but looking past that, it’s very quiet, friendly and the view of the lake from the caravan is beautiful, especially whilst having your dinner watching people fish. It’s perfectly placed for the Lakes and Yorkshire. We visited Morecambe Bay, which was a 20min drive. Nice beach and promenade, not to crowded. Ingleton waterfalls trail is a 30min drive and is a must. Amazing views and trail, make sure you take a picnic to stop by the waterfalls. We also visited Silverdale beach for a picnic and sun bathe, literally around the corner and yet again, worth it. There is a petrol station, Aldi, Booths, Tesco and Co-op within 10min of caravan by car. Any Chinese lovers, I highly recommend Trungs, 10-15 min drive, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t rate this place highly enough. We enjoyed it and wish we could’ve stayed longer, but we will definitely be back. Thank you James & Suzanne

Excellent stay at the caravan, booking was straightforward and Denise was very helpful and accommodating. The caravan was very clean and comfortable. Good location,easy access to several nearby places to visit. Would definately stay again and will recommend to friends and family.

We hired this beautiful caravan from Denise for 4 days and loved every minute of our time there, it is well appointed and tasteful decor to a very high standard with nice outdoor veranda, the park is also beautiful and a stones throw away from Borwick Lake, the area is wonderful with lots of other places of interest just a short drive away, we would have no hesitation whatsoever in staying here again and thanks again to both yourself and David Denise for the use of your holiday home.

JUST HAD A FABULOUS 5 NIGHT STAY IN A BEAUTIFULLY EQUIPPED STATIC HOME LOCATED ON A PEACEFUL PART OF THIS HOLIDAY COMPLEX, WITH OUR 8 YEAR OLD GRANDSON. IT WAS A REAL HOME FROM HOME AND HAD JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED. BOOKING WAS EXTREMELY EASY AND INSTRUCTIONS VERY CLEAR AND EASY TO FOLLOW. THE OWNER DENISE WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND MADE SURE THAT EVERYTHING WAS JUST RIGHT. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE.

My fiancé and I stayed here with two young children and had an excellent time. The caravan was superb and in a great area. It was very clean and we were welcomed with some biscuits and sweets for the children which was nice. The lady we hired the caravan from was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were good and there were plenty of places to visit close by. We will certainly be staying here again.

The family including Mr P Nut our loveable dog enjoyed the holiday, although the weather was not first class it did not dampen us from exploring the area around the Lakes District, We visited Hawes, Kendal, Bowness, Grange-Over- Sands. and Morecambe, this Holiday home is just perfect, from entering it on our arrival we all said WOW, this is the best van we have ever hired, and more to the point, we all felt at Home, Mr P Nuts had the time of his life walking around the decking, and going for walks around the lake, we were very sad to leave this Caravan Park which is very tranquil & peaceful, Denice was a perfect host and my transactions with her went first class

Just had our 3 night stay in the fab caravan, it was a great location for the lakes and the site itself was ideal for fishing. The site was nice and quiet, which was what we wanted for our 1st holiday with our lab Marley. Denise fitted us in very last minute, we arrived to a lovely welcome pack! Sweets, biscuits, dog treat! Nice little touch. I'm always wary of dog accommodation as it isn't always as nice as normal accommodation. This however is so lovely, clean, doesn't smell, modern, peaceful, spacious! It's like home from home. There is a little play area for the children. Thank you again Denise! We'll be back.

I booked this last minute with Denise for myself, partner and his 82 year old Mum, Denise was friendly and very helpful, and the instructions given were clear so everything was made easy for us when we arrived, this was perfect for what we wanted, and was dog friendly so we were able to take our 2 dogs with us, it was home from home and immaculate, we loved the welcome pack, even had dog treats, We will definitely return and hopefully the weather will be better next time, despite that we had a great time and thank you for letting us stay. We had a party of 5, and a dog. 2 x 17 year olds, 2 x 12 year olds. We found the caravan to be beautifully well kept, well equipped and very clean and spotless upon our arrival. Denise the owner couldn't do enough for us. We used the leisure facility regularly and even the beauty spa, 5 star facilities. We also ate out at the restaurant there and found this excellent value for money and great friendly service. The caravan site has a lot of potential, and I enjoyed walking my dog around the lake, albeit it a tad untidy, I feel this is probably due to it not quite being finished and a relatively new site. We had a lovely stay at this Caravan for the bank holiday weekend. Caravan is well kept and clean and has all the facilities you need. We stayed here with my 8 year old. We made use of the swimming pool leisure pass Denise supplied. The facilities were excellent. Denise was very helpful and made our stay all the more enjoyable. Thanks Denise.

We had a lovely last minute stay 2 nights with our 2 year old daughter. Lodge and surroundings are lovely & peaceful our daughter loved feeding the ducks and ducklings outside the lodge morning and night. The on-site restaurant was amazing! Our daughter suffers with an egg allergy and going out for food can be stressful due too limits on what she can eat, the service we received from staff & chefs there was outstanding! (We have ate out in some high end we’ll know restaurants and accommodating for the little one can be hard) the restaurant couldn’t do more for us and for us this really made it and the food was amazing the views over the lake stunning. Thankyou too Denise for keeping in contact and being a fab host xx I can see us being regulars :) xx I can’t wait too see what the site will be like when fully developed already planning too book again.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights with our Lab Ruby. The caravan was beautiful and even though it was cold out the caravans heating was more than ample. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped, the bedroom also very clean and well laid out. We also had use of the leisure facilities at the main park, the swimming pool and changing rooms were very clean and staff very friendly. Denise was extremely helpful and on hand to help with any queries. The only slight negative would be the noise from the M6 as it is not far away but as the trees that have been planted mature this will probably help reduce that. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Just returned from 3 night stay at this gorgeous holiday home with husband and dog. It was like a home from home, every facility you could need on a lovely quiet site. Denise and her husband met us at the site and allowed us early access with the sun shining was an added bonus. We'll definitely be recommending it to our friends and family and can't wait to return.

We were lucky enough to be the first visitors in this stunning caravan. It was like a home from home with all the facilities you could need with the added bonus of being pet friendly.
