Caldecott Hall Country Park - Holiday Accommodation 21586

Date of stay - 22 Aug 2025 - 25 Aug 2025

Arrived to a clean and comfortable caravan. Ideally situated close to the restaurant, bar and golf course. Veranda with seating and a table was thankfully used due to the fair weather and appreciated. Great for our small dog with the locked gate so safe for her or younger children to have outside space without fear of running off. The site is geared towards adults and not young children which is what we had expected. Hot water and toasty heating for the cool mornings. No microwave (unless it was well hidden) but there was a hairdryer.

We had a lovely stay, the caravan was perfect and had all we needed. They park was nice, we played disc golf. A short drive we found a good size Morrisons to buy and bits and pieces and it had a lovely fish and chip shop right next door. Would definitely book to go back, the owners where fab and were very quick to deal with any questions. THANK YOU XXX

Very nice caravan with nice veranda on a lovely plot. Plenty of room for family and dog. Ideal for visiting beaches and broads.

Clean and well kept caravan and site. Lots of handy things there like hair dryer forgot mine. Cleaning bits and soap all makes like easier. Big caravan lots of space and good decking area for sunny morning coffee. Site restaurant great food and beer. Kids did lots of exploring. Foot golf and disc golf. Went swimming on site small charge. Can’t wait to come back. Caravan owner sure helpful all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Caravan is pleasant, and in a great location on site. Lots of walking potential. Could do with a microwave and a few more oven trays. The site has a pool but not suitable for non swimmers due to its 1.2 minimum depth.

This caravan is lovely, very clean, very spacious, well equipped kitchen. Lovely big veranda, host has been in contact with all the relevant details, great host. Lovely park, very quiet, just perfect. Will hopefully be staying again.

We had a lovely time and the van was very homely and the kitchen etc had a good range of crockery and utensils. Josh, the host was very helpful and replied quickly to queries. would highly recommend to others and location was great for and easy to get to coast and broads.

We had a lovely stay at the caravan site! All the caravans were clean, tidy, and well looked after, making it a really comfortable place to relax. The site itself was peaceful and quiet – perfect for a restful break. There’s a charming little café on-site with very friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. For those looking for a bit of fun, there are various golfing activities to try, which added a nice bit of variety to our stay. One of the highlights was walking around and seeing the animals – the horses in the scantry were beautiful, and it was a real treat to spot the pigs and piglets nearby. It’s a great place for both relaxation and light activity, and we’d happily come back again.

The park was just what l was looking for, quiet. Reception staff were lovely. Not many people about just enough to give me someone to talk to occasionally. It's a large park plenty of space to walk around with my little dog. Could do with an off lead area to give the dogs a chance of burning off some energy. While walking around l did collect some pine cones for a craft idea l have. The restaurant "Barn 1" has lovely staff all very willing to help. This is open 3 days a week then they open "The Retreat" which is more of a cafe but the meals were the same excellent standard. ( Missed out on visiting the Redwings horse rescue centre due to their opening times but this had nothing to do with the park management ) Shall be going back without any doubt, just depends on when I have a dog that l can bring with me, ( l am a dog minder in my house ) I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff not just the ones in reception and eating places but the groundworkers as well. Perfect place to relax and rewind . Stunning scenery,beaches a short drive away and lots of dog friendly places to visit . Caravan had everything we needed and more ! Owners are very approachable and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Blessed with gorgeous weather too. Will definitely be returning soon !

Wow what a wonderful stay we had. We are a couple with 2 dogs. The caravan was a home away from home and had everything that wouid be needed from a hairdryer to an iron. They thought of every little detail. Lovely decking area with outdoor furniture which was a lovely little suntrap. We will definitely return. The site is so peaceful and just what we wanted

Lovely caravan on a quiet, clean site with easy access to coast, and pet friendly. Caravan was spotless with lots of little extras supplied and great communication from owners. My only suggestions would be to replace or sharpen the sharp knives and also make the fact that bedding is not supplied more prominent, but would definitely recommend booking here, really enjoyed our stay.
