Situated on the dramatic Jurassic Coast, within easy walking distance to both Durdle Door Beach and Lulworth Cove and surrounded by beautiful Dorset countryside, our lodge is an ideal base for dog-walkers and families and those looking for somewhere to relax or explore the many attractions in the surrounding area.
The lodge offers a modern, fully fitted and equipped kitchen, dining area, and comfortable sitting room with patio doors leading to the large deck with seating and westerly facing views over the surrounding hills.
The master bedroom has a double bed, ample storage and an ensuite w/c. There is also a built-in corner vanity unit that, if required, can double as a workspace.
The second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be converted into a double, plus storage and a full-length wardrobe. There is also a double sofa bed in the living room.
The family bathroom consists of a shower unit, w/c, sink and storage cabinet
The lodge is double glazed, has central heating and a cosy log-effect electric fire. There is also a smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. Parking for one car is adjacent to the lodge. Addition parking is available.
Laundry facilities are available on site or the ‘next-day’ laundry service can be requested from the main office. Highchairs and cots can also be provided.
The lodge is 100 meters from ‘Lulworth Castle’ play area, ideal for younger children, and a 3-minute walk to the well-stocked convenience store, Man-O-War restaurant bar and adventure play area suitable for older children.
For guests with dogs the lodge is ideally situated for walks along the many paths leading into the surrounding woods and fields.
Please note that we provide all bedding, hand towels, (tea towels and oven gloves), but you will need to bring your own bath/beach towels (beach towels can be purchase in the on-site shop). Also, if furry members of your family are with you, could you please use the throws we have provided to protect the sofas from wet and muddy paws.
