Before entering into this contract verbal or written, the Client (hereinafter referred to as “the Client”) must agree to the following terms and conditions. Upon acceptance and fulfilment of the contracted booking with Hot Dog Retreats (hereinafter referred to as ‘The Company’), we will assume the Client’s full and unconditional acceptance of the below terms and conditions when payment is received and a booking confirmation is issued to the Client.
“The Client” - The Customer/Hirer
“The Company” – Hot Dog Retreats
“The Property”- The Caravan & It’s Grounds
1. Number of Guests
The maximum number of people entitled to stay at this property is 8. If it is found that more people than agreed are using the property, this will be considered a breach of contract and The Client and their party will be asked to leave immediately without any refund. Sub-letting or assignation of the let is prohibited.
2. Dogs
Only small & medium-sized dogs are allowed to stay on The Property. All dogs must be house trained and the number must not change from what was agreed at the time of booking, otherwise a breach of contract will be deemed to have taken place.
Dogs must not be left unaccompanied on the property. Dogs are allowed on the furniture but please use the throws provided. Dogs are not allowed into the hallway, bathroom or any bedrooms. The Client shall be liable for all damage caused by their pet or any pet belonging to the Client’s party. A charge will be made for any additional cleaning required.
The Client is required to respect the property, veranda and park and pick up any dog litter immediately. Dogs should be kept on a lead at all times around the park.
All dogs must be dry and clean before coming into The Property and only use the dog towel provided for the pets. All other towels are strictly for the Client & their party.
Leave all dog costumes, coats and life jackets where you found them at the end of your stay.
3. Parking
There is allocated parking outside the Property which can fit up to two cars.
Any additional cars, please park on the shared car park near the club house.
4. Arrival and Departure
Every effort will be made to have the property available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made. Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided on the day of arrival.
The Client will return the keys to the lockbox provided after their stay.
5. Cleaning
The Client and their party are expected to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition, strip the beds which have been used, leave all linen on the floor in the bathroom and empty all the bins on their departure. The Company retains the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the holiday.
6. Electric Car Charging
Under no circumstances can The Client charge their or any of their party’s cars from the property. The holiday guests will be asked to leave and the owner retains the right to make additional charges.
7. Smoking & Vaping
Smoking & vaping are not allowed inside the property or on the veranda.
8. Lost Keys
Lost keys should be reported immediately and there will be a £25 charge to replace them.
9. Music & Loud Noise
We ask that there is no loud noise or music played between the hours of 22:00 and 8:00. The Client is expected to respect the park and other guests and failure to do this will result in The Client and their party being asked to leave.
10. Illegal Substances
The use of Illegal Substances is strictly forbidden. If The Client or their party are found in possession of any illegal substances, the party will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be issued.
11. Liability
The Company takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the Client or their party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the Client.
Children must be supervised at all times.
No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, internet connection or television service.
12. Breakages
The Client should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the holiday. Any accidental damages or breakages should be reported to the owner prior to departure. The owner retains the right to make an additional charge for damage, breakages or missing items.
13. Miscellaneous
Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, the park and the area, over time, alterations and changes are made. The Client accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.
The Company reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.
The Company is entitled and reserves the right to ask The Client to leave the property without any refund if, in The Company's opinion, the behaviour of The Client and/or their party is unacceptable or unreasonable.
14. Complaints
It is the responsibility of The Client to make issues on arrival or problems during the stay known to The Company as soon as they become apparent, thereby giving The Company or booking agent the opportunity to correct the situation. Unless this procedure is followed, no subsequent claim will be entertained.
The Company will make every endeavour to rectify any identified problems as soon as is reasonably possible.
15. Bookings
A £100 booking deposit is required to secure the requested dates. The booking is taken on a provisional basis until the deposit has been paid and received in full, at which point the booking becomes confirmed. Until the booking is confirmed, The Company will not hold the dates requested by The Client.
The balance of the booking is due no later than 8 weeks before arrival. Failure to pay the deposit or balance in full by the due dates will result in the booking being cancelled. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit retained.
Bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date must be paid in full at the time of booking.

Please see the cancellation terms below based on the number of weeks before the arrival date.
• If cancellation is more than 12 weeks before arrival you will receive a full refund.
• If cancellation is less than 12 weeks but more than 4 weeks before arrival, then £100 will be retained.
• If cancellation is 4 weeks or less before arrival the full balance will be retained.
We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance to cover any cancellations.
Booking amendments can be requested, subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Amendments will not be considered if the arrival date is less than two weeks away. An amendment fee may be charged.
Cancellation by The Company:
In the unlikely event that the property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances and the booking has to be cancelled, The Client will be entitled to a full refund. The owner shall only be liable to return the payment received and no compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.
Return of Security Deposit
Your £100 booking/breakage deposit will be returned within 48 hours of departure unless there are to be any deductions (see Cleaning & Breakages). In this instance, your booking/breakage deposit, minus any deductions will be returned to you within 2 weeks of departure.
