Terms and Conditions
1. Upon receipt of your enquiry by telephone, letter, text message, e-mail, Social Media message or
verbally, the caravan will be provisionally booked provided intention to book is indicated. This
booking will be held for:
a) 4 days if the Hire start date is within 2 calendar months of the date of the enquiry, or,
b) 7 days if the Hire start date is over 2 calendar months from date of the enquiry.
If no booking information and £100 deposit (or full payment if within 6 weeks of the hire start date)
is received within these times the booking will be taken off reserve and the date re-advertised.
If a deposit is paid, the balance, plus £100 breakages/damages Security Bond, must be paid in full 6
weeks prior to the letting period. If this is not received, then I reserve the right to cancel the booking
and re-advertise the hire dates. There will be no refund (unless exceptional circumstances).
2. The £100 Security Bond is not included in the price of the hire. It can be paid separately or added
to the hire payment. The Security Bond will be returned within 7- 14 days after departure if the
caravan is deemed to be clean and tidy to an acceptable level and free of damage or breakages. Any
breakages, damage or extra cleaning will be charged to the hirer resulting in partial/full loss of
Security Bond. Any reduction in the Security Bond will be explained by letter/e-mail. You must notify
the caravan owner immediately of any damage caused during your stay.
3. Payments received will be acknowledged by letter or e-mail within 10 days (due to cheque
banking & processing times).
4. Passes for the Entertainment Complex are not included & can be purchased prior to arrival from
Haven, with the form that you will receive upon full payment.
5. No Dogs allowed due to severe allergy. If you are found to have had a dog in the caravan you will
be evicted, and your bond will not be returned
6. Personal travel insurance IS NOT included in the cost of your hire and, if required, remains the
responsibility of the hirers. I advise hirers to obtain insurance against any loss of full or partial
payments of their Holiday due to unforeseeable circumstances which may lead to a cancellation or
late arrival of their holiday.
7. Any booking made within 42 days of the hire start date must be paid in full when a booking is
confirmed.
8. Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will receive a full refund, minus a £10 admin
charge. Cancellations made within 14 days of the arrival date will receive a 50% refund.
Cancellations made within 48 Hours of check in will not receive a refund. The date of cancellation is
the day written confirmation is received. The cancellation must be put in writing to the email
address.
9. I reserve the right to cancel the confirmed hire booking at any time due to any unforeseen
circumstances beyond my control. In such an event, a full refund of all monies paid by the hirer
(including deposit) will be given. At no time will the refund exceed the amount paid by the hirer.
10. The caravan will be available to only the named occupants on the booking form for the duration
of the hire period unless prior consent has been given. Once the booking form has been filled in and
returned any additions will incur a charge. The maximum number of party members is six persons.
11. Park rules dictate that bookings are not accepted from groups of mixed or single sex persons
under the age of 21 years, also no Hen or Stag parties. Bookings are only accepted from groups of
single sex persons of any age at my discretion.
12. The Head of Party on the booking form is otherwise known as the Hirer. The hirer must remain
present during the occupancy period.
13. The hirer is at all times responsible for the conduct and behaviour of all members of his/her
party.
14. The hirer is at all times responsible for the care and cleanliness of the caravan and undertakes at
his/her expense to replace or repair any items lost or damaged during the stay of the party. The
patio/grass area surrounding the caravan is regarded as an extension to the holiday home and is to
be kept clean and tidy as such.
15. Please note I reserve the right to pass on any information relating to any damage caused by you
or any member of your guests. Any criminal damage may lead to police/civil action.
16. In the event of behaviour likely to cause offence or damage to other users of the facilities, the
Park management reserve the right to remove any offenders from the park without redress. Any
person or persons who are asked to leave the site by Hafan Y Mor before termination of their hire
period will lose the right of any reimbursement of monies paid including any bond.
17. It is not permitted to smoke in the caravan for any reason whatsoever. Any discovery or evidence
of smoking in the caravan during the hire period will result in the whole party being asked to leave
without refund. Additionally, a cleaning bill will be sent to the hirer.
18. I, the owner endeavour to maintain the highest possible standard within my caravan. To this end
I request that contact is made with me on your arrival, should you discover that any items are
damaged, broken, or missing, so that the problem may be rectified as soon as possible.
19. I, the owner will not be held liable by the hirer or any member of his/her party for loss or
damage to personal property, nor for injury or death to any party member during the hire period.
20. This is a private rental and I, the owner, accept no responsibility for any changes or alterations to
the on-site entertainment as advertised and controlled by Hafan Y Mor. I, the owner, will not be
responsible for events that could have an effect on your holiday, i.e: neighbours, children playing,
local events, traffic or weather.
21. The hirer is wholly responsible for any damage caused to the caravan by an electrical item
brought and used and belonging to any member of his/her party.
22. Beds will have Mattresses, mattress protectors, duvets and pillows but you will need to bring
your own linen i.e. Sheets, pillowcases & Duvet covers. You will also need items such as towels,
and wash cloths. These items are the responsibility of the hirer to supply.
23. The use of barbecues is permitted (not disposable). Please keep well away from the caravan and
decking area.
24. Do not disarm smoke alarms. All electrical items (except fridges), including boiler, must be
switched off when leaving the caravan.
25. On vacating the caravan, please ensure that everything is switched off and unplugged (excluding
boiler and fridge). Please remove all litter and refuse and dispose of in the designated areas
provided by the park. Please ensure the Central Heating is in the off position
26. The Park rules must be adhered to; they are there for your safety. You can obtain a copy of the
said rules from the reception office.
27. The caravan will be available on the day of arrival from 3pm unless agreed by prior arrangement.
The caravan is to be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure unless agreed by prior
arrangement.
28. The caravan must be left clean and tidy as you would your own home. Please do not leave food
in the caravan when you leave
29. There is only one car allowed to be parked outside the caravan as there is only one parking bay
please do not park on the grass as this is against Haven’s rules and would be a violation of your
booking. (There is a haven car park for extra cars)
30. Under NO circumstances are you or any one in your party allowed to charge an electric car from
any outlet in the caravan SAFETY
• Switch off all appliances when not in use especially at night or when leaving the caravan for long
periods.
• No personal portable fires/hot air blowers are to be used in the caravan unless provided by the
owner whereby they will be safety tested. Any fire or damage/loss caused by such personal items
will be liable to you the hirer.
• Keep mobile cots away from any hot surfaces/heaters.
• If you discover a fire, evacuate all persons from the caravan. Raise the alarm by contacting
reception or call 999. Alert adjoining accommodations. Never re-enter caravan. Do not put yourself
or others in danger, you are not encouraged to fight the fire yourself.
• No smoking in the caravan.
• The caravan is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.
• The caravan has a fire extinguisher available. This must not be discharged unless there is a fire
• Outside play areas are not always supervised. Young children should be supervised by a
responsible adult.
• Accidents/illness, please contact reception, a staff member of Haven Parks or security. • Please
ensure all children do not approach stray dogs especially in hot weather whereby dogs may become
aggressive.
• Please do not feed scraps of food to the sea gulls around the caravan as this will result in the gulls
constant annoyance to you. Children may like throwing bits of food to the gulls but this has led to
younger children being attacked by the gulls on site. Always make sure any waste is placed inside the
wheeler bins provided nearby. Do not leave rubbish bags outside the caravan or bins.
• Please do not allow children to be unsupervised when walking along the main thoroughfares.
Although traffic speed restrictions apply, children, in their excitement tend to rush out from
behind/alongside caravans.
• Please do not allow children to be unsupervised around the BBQ when in use and when cooling
down after use.
• Please do not leave mobile phone charges plugged in overnight or unattended as some of these
can overheat ...Show less
