By booking a stay at our privately owned caravan at Hafan y Môr, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
NOTICE FOR ALL BOOKINGS SEPTEMBER 08 2025 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE (18/08/2025):
Development & Construction Notice
Please be aware that Haven has confirmed planned development works at Hafan y Môr during 2025, specifically relating to Enlli and St Tudwal’s Phase 3, scheduled to commence from Monday 8 September 2025.
Work will take place weekdays only.
There may be noise disruption and construction traffic on certain park roads, including traffic control measures at the bridge during peak times.
This is outside of our control as private owners, and we cannot be held responsible for any disruption caused by these works.
Cancellations due to Development Works
Bookings made during this period remain subject to our standard Cancellation & Refund Policy. Refunds or compensation will not be offered on the basis of development-related disruption, as Haven continue to provide access to all facilities and are undertaking the work as part of essential improvements to the park.
Booking and Payment
A booking is not secured until the required deposit has been paid.
To confirm a booking, guests must pay:
A £75 non-refundable booking deposit, which is deducted from the total cost of the stay. This covers administration and loss of opportunity if the booking is cancelled.
A £75 refundable security deposit, held separately to cover damages, breakages, missing items, or excess cleaning. This is returned within 7–10 working days after check-out, subject to a satisfactory inspection.
To complete a booking, guests must pay:
The remaining balance of the holiday cost must be paid in full within 7 days of submitting a booking request (unless alternative arrangements have been agreed with us in writing).
If payment (or alternative arrangements) is not received within 7 days, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the non-refundable booking deposit will be retained. The £75 refundable security deposit, if paid, will be returned in full.
Security Deposit
A £75 security deposit is required with each booking.
This deposit covers damages, breakages, missing items, excess cleaning, or any disrepair beyond normal wear and tear.
The deposit will be returned within 7–10 working days after check-out, subject to a satisfactory inspection.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as fair as possible while also protecting our small business. The following policy applies to all confirmed bookings:

More than 30 days50% refund of the total booking cost (if full payment received excluding the non-refundable booking deposit) will be refunded.

All cancellations must be notified to us in writing (email is acceptable). The effective date of cancellation will be the date we receive written notice.
The £75 non-refundable booking deposit is always retained in the event of cancellation, regardless of the notice period given. This covers administration and loss of opportunity to re-let the caravan.
The £75 refundable security deposit, if already paid, will always be returned in full if cancellation occurs before the stay.
Part payments: Any part payments made are non-refundable unless the cancellation is more than 30 days before check-in and the full balance had been paid at the time of cancellation.
Refunds (where applicable) will be processed within 10 working days of cancellation confirmation and receipt of the guest’s bank details.
Failure to Pay
In line with our Booking & Payment terms, payment (or an agreed alternative arrangement) must be received within 7 days of the original booking request.
If payment is not received, the booking will be automatically cancelled and the non-refundable booking deposit will be retained. The £75 refundable security deposit, if paid, will be returned in full. Cancellation will result in the dates being released back into the calendar.
No refunds are due in this circumstance, as the booking was not confirmed.
No-Shows & Early Departures
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or early departures.
Cancellation by the Owner
In the unlikely event that we are required to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. emergency repairs or park closure), you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, including your security deposit.
Booking Terms
A booking is only considered confirmed once full payment (and the £75 security deposit, or an agreed payment arrangement) has been received.
Until that point, the requested dates will remain open for others to book.
By proceeding with your booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
Check-In / Check-Out
Check-in: From 4:00 PM on arrival day
Check-out: By 10:00 AM on departure day
Departures after the check-out time may result in loss of the security deposit and/or additional charges unless previously agreed.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests must leave the caravan in a clean and tidy condition.
All rubbish must be removed, and used dishes cleaned before departure.
Smoking is strictly not permitted inside the caravan.
Failure to follow these requirements may result in deductions from the security deposit.
Pets & Responsibilities
We are happy to welcome well-behaved pets at the caravan, but kindly ask that owners follow a few simple rules to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.
Pets must not be left unattended in the caravan at any time.
Guests must clean up after their pets both inside and around the caravan.
Any damage caused by pets, including but not limited to soiling, chewing, or scratching, will be deducted from the £75 security deposit. If the cost of repair or cleaning exceeds the deposit amount, the lead guest will be liable for the full cost of damages.
By bringing a pet, you agree to these terms.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy must not exceed the number stated at the time of booking.
The lead guest must be aged 18 or over and is responsible for the behaviour of all members of the party.
Loss, Damage & Liability
We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during your stay.
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the caravan or its contents and agree to pay any costs not covered by the security deposit.
Use of Facilities
Guests must comply with all site rules and respect neighbouring caravans and guests.
The use of park facilities is subject to Haven’s own terms and may require additional passes (Passes will not be provided).
