Norfolk Cottage Agency Present Woodland Retreat on Kelling Heath Park.
Please note only week long breaks are usually advertised on this website but we will be able to consider short breaks if not during the main peak Summer weeks.

Woodland Retreat is reached via the rear of the van onto the side decking where the porch entrance awaits. The porch offers a great space for muddy wellies and coats. From here step into the van where guests are immediately presented with the open plan kitchen, dining and lounge space. The living space offers a large sofa and armchair, easily seating 4 guests comfortably. There is a TV, coffee table and storage for any holiday essentials such as games and books.

The kitchen is perfectly suited to make home cooked meals after a busy day exploring and offers a small kitchen island, ideal for preparing snacks from. The kitchen is equipped with a gas hob, oven and grill, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle and utensils. The dining area has seating for 4 people.

From the kitchen there is a corridor which gives access to the 2 bedrooms and family bathroom.

The family bathroom offers a shower, WC and wash basin. The master bedroom is a light space with plenty of wardrobe space and shelving. It accommodates a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash basin.

The second bedroom is a twin room with 2 single beds and cupboard space.

Woodland Retreat has a lovely, enclosed plot with shrubs and surrounding trees. There is sufficient parking for 1 car and more on the street around the plot. There is a side deck with outside furniture.

Dogs are unfortunately not accepted at Woodland Retreat.

The Village Square is approx a 5-10 minute walk.

Private Parking for 1 car.

Linen and Towels are not included at Woodland Retreat.

WiFi is not offered at the van but available in the village square free of charge.

The village square is where you’ll find a variety of activities, including a village shop, pub, cafe, and leisure centre. ( additional charges for the pool and gym) The area also offers playgrounds, tennis courts, a stargazing field, and much more for you to explore. In peak seasons there is entertainment for the children and music in the square with visiting take away food trucks on some evenings. Just a short walk from Weybourne Beach, Kelling Heath also offers a charming steam railway connection to Holt and Sheringham from its own platform during peak times. For those eager to explore the North Norfolk coast, Kelling Heath is the perfect spot. The park is ideally located between the sandy beaches and picturesque quays of Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea, and Cley, as well as the breath taking eastern coastline from Cromer to Mundesley . History buffs and outdoor enthusiasts will also love the proximity to National Trust gems like Blickling Hall and Felbrigg Hall, and the nearby scenic routes such as Marriott’s Way and the Norfolk Broads. For those with a taste for adventure, Kelling Heath offers an array of activities, including fishing, an abundance of walking and cycling trails, and bicycle rentals. Notably, it has been designated as a Dark Sky Discovery Site, making it one of the premier locations in East Anglia for stargazing. You can also get to see the Red Squirrels that are part of the parks controlled breeding programme.

We had a lovely stay in this very clean and cosy caravan, very quite and secluded, everything you need and lots of place,s to visit. We will certainly be going back, Very happy and i would recommend this to all my friends and family .
